Popolocrois 1998 anime

So a little while ago I stumbled across this anime called Popolocrois on youtube. What drew me in was the art style. It seemed that every character looked like toddlers. young or old, good or evil. everyone looked like toddlers. After the art style drew me in the story sealed the deal.

Popolocrois is about a young prince named Pietro who finds a girl who has fallen from the sky. Caused by the villian GamiGami the girl must find her way back home with the help of Pietro and his witch friend Narcia. Along the way the girl struggles to decide if she even wants to go back home.

If your looking for an anime with alot of action then shoo...go on ...go away. Although there are a few battle scenes this anime mostly revolves around the growth of the main characters.

Im glad i found this anime and i recommend it to everyone. Before I finish this post i just wanna tell you that i watched this anime with subtitles. I dont know if there is a dubbed version out there. Although for me i enjoyed the japanese voice acting.

Beauty and the Beast 2017

What can i say about Beauty and the Beast. I was really hoping that it would be just as good as the original. I hate to say it but it fell short. Dont get me wrong though it was a good movie. the visuals were great and all of your favorite songs were there too. So what was wrong with it? you know that ominous feeling you get when you watch the original movie. well i didnt get that feeling while watching this version. And even though the songs were there the way they were sung was a little off which ruined the movie a little.

overall the movie was just ok for me. if you still want to watch this movie i wont stand in your way. Watcher beware though you wont be getting a great nostalgic feeling from it.

Riverdale

So i binge watched the show Riverdale on Netflix. What made me watch it was an interview with the cast on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. I've never even heard of the show until then.

what is Riverdale? Riverdale is a re-imagining of the world of Archie Comics. You got Veronica, Betty, Jugg Head, Reggie, and ofcourse Archie. All being represented by real actors. And they do a great job to. Season 1 revolves around the group of friends trying to solve the mystery of who killed Jason Blossom. i really enjoyed watching the mystery unfold. Season 2 started with a new mystery. you should definitely watch season 1 on netflix. Then watch season 2 wedsedays on the CW.

Casual Gaming

I'm all into playing an action adventure game. Yet i still feel like playing a casual game is still just as fun. When i say casual games i'm talking about Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon or The Sims. You know games like those. And they are always E for Everyone so no matter what age you are you can pick it up and play. And if its multiplayer...even better.

But even though they're E for Everyone they might not be for everyone. And that's ok. Some people enjoy a laid back game while others enjoy a challenge. That's whats great about the gaming world. There is a game for anyone. Personally I like both. So that's all I have to say. On to the next...

Moana

Moana is a story about a girl who gets chosen by the ocean to save the land from darkness. Legend has it a demi-god stole a stone called the heart which gives life to the land. With out the heart darkness spread. Now its up to Moana to find the demi god, return the heart, and restore the land to its former beauty.

I really liked this movie. It was a disney princess movie that was more than just a disney princess movie. It was very funny. Also the songs were very catchy. Before watching this movie i wondered what all the hype was about. Now i see the greatness of this movie that everyone is talking about. im glad i gave it a chance.

And with that being said its on to the next...

Pokemon Upgrade Sun and Moon

As a person who hates change, I was pleasantly surprised about the change in animation style in the Pokemon series. I'm talking about the Pokemon Sun and Moon anime. Ash's appearance in perticular has changed alot. I would describe it like characters drawn in a Hayao Miyazaki film. And thats not a bad thing.

Ash's adventure has also changed. Instead of battling gym leaders to collect badges he is now doing trials scattered around the alola islands. Ash is even attending school. Who would've thought that day would come.

The last thing I want to point out is the new power that trainers have with their pokemon. With the power of the Z-Ring and Z-Crystals they can unleash a devastating attack during battle.

All of these changes in pokemon are a great upgrade in the anime and games.

Cardcaptors Returns!

Cardcaptors! A mystic adventure..Cardcaptors! A quest for all time.

So I just found out that the cardcaptors anime is going to be revived. Reading different articles and watching different videos on youtube i've found out that the anime will continue the story in january 2018. The story itself will involve something called Clear Cards. Plus the voice actors will be coming back to voice the main characters.

I cant wait for january to come. I hope the new story does the anime justice. Well until then its onto the next...

Twix Pick A Side

Cant sleep so ive decided to rant. if you havent been living under a rock then you know about Twix new campaign slogan: Twix Pick A Side. The idea is that each side of a pack of Twix is made differently. How differently? basically its the way the makers pour the caramel onto the cookie part of the candy bar. What! are you serious? Thats the difference? they are even going as far as to sell twix left side seperate from the right side. They are both the same people! And yeah i get it. Thats the joke. But to take it as far as they did just bothers me. What ever happened to the slogan: Twix its all in the mix.

I'm Back!

Hey so I guess your wondering why I haven't really posted anything in a long time. Well my desktop computer got messed up. I wasnt able to get on and write a post. But have no fear the answer is here. I recently got a new laptop thanks to my step mother. I will now be able to continue my blog.

Looking foreword to writing about the new games i've been playing, the new shows i've been watching, and new books i've been reading.

Yoo...Yoo...Yo Kai Watch!

Yo Kai Watch is a new monster collecting anime to join the ranks of Pokémon. It has 3 games, a TV show, a movie, and a line of toys.

Yo Kai Watch is about a boy named Nate who accidentally releases a spirit from a 25 cent machine he found in the forest.
The spirit named whismer gives Nate a special watch that would allow him to see other spirits. These other spirits called yo Kai are mischievous and are causing problems around town. Now it is up to Nate to stop the Yokai and befriend them. When he befriends a Yokai they give him a medal that when inserted into the Yokai watch will be able to summon them when needed.

Yokai watch theme is friendship and circles around life lessons. Befriending one Yokai helps befriend another. Overall this is a great show. I recommend you watch it and play the games to.
