Suicide Squad

I saw Suicide Squad and it was awesome!!! I was scared that it wasnt gonna be good but im glad I was wrong.

I wont talk about the story cuz I dont want to spoil it to whoever hasnt seen it. all i'll say is that im glad they showed a short back story for each of the members of the suicide squad in the beginning of the movie. what stood out the most though was the acting of Margot Robbie (who plays Harley Quinn). Her portrayal of Harley was amazing. No other actress could've done a better job. She provided comic relief that made me laugh out loud. I was disappointed that you see very little of the joker. I dont know if the joker plays a major role in the suicide squad comics. Lastly the battles were epic and satisfying. 

Would You Rather...

Would you rather play a game series from the beginning to understand the story better OR play the most recent game first because it has better graphics and gameplay?

Your probably wondering why im asking. i really want to get a Megaman Starforce game. I know I know its an old game. To me it doesnt matter if the game is old. The problem is i dont know if starforce 1's story connects with starforce 2 and 3. If I play starforce 3 I would be playing with better gameplay. But i might not understand parts of the story.

So answer the Would You Rather and help me decide which starforce game should I buy. I would be greatly appreciated.

Best Fiends

Best Fiends is a game i've been playing on my tablet for quite a while. And its a really fun game. Basically you have these creatures that corresponds with an object on the board. The board has a variety of objects that need to be removed. You remove these objects by connecting the same objects together. But what do the creatures do? They give you power ups to clear more objects. Plus clearing objects deals damage to enemy Slugs. This (as i said before) is a really fun game. And its FREE!

Finding Dory

Finding Dory is finally here and it will give you feels. Just like Finding Nemo, Finding Dory takes you across the sea in a funny and emotional adventure this time to find Dory's parents. To aid in Dory's journey is the fact that she begins to remember bits and pieces of her childhood. It is then when you meet baby Dory and how her parents help her cope with her short term memory loss. Also you see how Dory uses these memories to backtrack to find them.

This movie will make you laugh and cry. It's a great sequel and i know everyone no matter what age would enjoy this movie.

Sword Art Online

So I've been watching the anime Sword Art Online and it is a really cool anime. It is about these gamers who play a virtual reality game. their minds become trapped inside by the creator and the only way to escape is to beat the game. If you die in the game you die in real life. if someone from the real world unplugs you from the game you die. Beat all 100 levels and your free to go. Those are the rules.

The story follows this kid called Kirito. He is one of the players that gets trapped in the game. As Kirito plays the game he helps others beat the dungeons. He sees players die. He also meets players that have given up and decided to live in the game. The story, by the way, is a mix of a love story and an action RPG story. It also spans 2 years.

I really enjoyed watching this anime as this is a nerds fantasy come alive. I dont want to go deeper in the story because I would like for you to experience it for yourself. A warning though there are a couple of adult themed episodes. just putting that out there. I would definitely recommend this anime though.

The LEGO Movie

Hey so I finally got the chance to watch The LEGO Movie. I was afraid it was gonna be like those LEGO superheroes movies where everything is computer generated. I was proven wrong. When you watch this movie you can tell that everything was made with real LEGO pieces. I can only imagine how hard it was to make and film this movie.

Its kinda hard talkin about this movie without spoiling it. Hmm...let me see...I guess I can tell you that the characters in this movie are hilarious. Everyone has their own funny personality. And the story (to say as little as possible): a construction worker named Emmet is chosen to be the special to save the world. It is said that the special is a master builder who can build anything from his imagination.

I really liked this movie. As much as i liked it the ending was a bit confusing. That shouldnt stop you from checking this movie out though. Kids and adults will enjoy it.

Infamous Second Son (First Impressions)

You wanna know whats weird? I dont really play or like shooting games. The exception to this is the Ratchet&Clank and Infamous Series. So when I got my PS4 I had to go buy Infamous Second Son. I had previously owned the first Infamous game for the PS3. And I really enjoyed it. So playing Second Son was no different.

Just like the first game, Second Son follows the protagonist who gains powers and is faced with decisions which can be good or bad. Depending on what you choose, you gain abilities accordingly. Plus there is the fact that you travel around town by doing parkour. In this game you manipulate smoke. So the powers you get (to name a few) are smoke missles, a smoke dash, and the ability to travel through air vents. 

STORY: The story so far is interesting. The main character, Delsin accidentaly absorbs an escaped prisoner's powers. From there you find out that the authorities are hunting down conduites (people with special powers).

GAMEPLAY: The game plays like a shooter with a sci-fi/fantasy twist. And thats not a bad thing. Thats what makes it so fun to play. You shoot blast of smoke, like a gun in a regular shooter. And like a shooter you run out of ammo. But in this game you run out of smoke. So far the only bad thing is that your powers of smoke dont react the same way to the environment like the first game. For Example: in the first infamous game you wield electricity so if enemies are standing in a puddle of water, you can shoot at the water and cause damage. As far as I know you cant do something like that in Infamous Second Son.

This was my attempt at a first impression of a video game. If this felt more like a review then let me know so that I can do a better job next time.

This blog is not dead. Even though I havent posted anthing in a long time. I've been dealing with my mental health. But thats not what this post is about. 

I finally got a PS4. A PS4 with a lot of gamestop gift cards. With those cards I bought:

1)Infamous Second Son

2)Digimon Story Cybersleuth

3)Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below

This is just a few of the games that I got. So make sure to keep stopping by because I just might do a First Impressions on these games.
